          Sons of the American Legion

Squadron #547

Lublin, Wisconsin

The Sons of the American Legion (S.A.L.) is a program of the American Legion established in 1932 in Portland, Oregon.  Since then the S.A.L. have assisted The American Legion with their programs and activities.  In 1999, they attained an all time high membership of over 223,000 plus nationally and should surpass that for 2000.  the largest Detachment (State Level) has over 29,000 plus members.

The S.A.L. Squadron #547, Lublin, Wisconsin was chartered in 1995.  We are a non-profit organization and all profits from our program and activities are donated to a variety of charities and/or causes.  We are also very much involved at the state and local levels in Children & Youth programs.

Some of our activities we sponsor are snowmobile grass drags and ATV grass drags.  We are continually looking for ways to expand our events and activities.  All persons involved in these events are strictly volunteers.
